Mendham, New Jersey, U.S. and Surrey, U.K. (January, 2003)–

Global Solutions, Inc. (GSI) of Mendham, New Jersey proudly announces its new presence in the U.K. as of January 2003.

President and Founder Kathy A. Seabrook, CSP, MIOSH, RSP (UK) will lead the endeavor as GSI expands its operations and continues to provide seamless service to both existing and new multi-national clients.

The enhanced presence in the U.K. will increase GSI’s global network; enhance global resources and expertise available to clients; and open new markets for multi-national companies that need to manage health and safety in the U.S.

Seabrook also conducts cross-cultural executive programs and group seminars to educate clients on cultural issues that impact business results.

Seabrook has over 20 years of diverse safety and health management experience in both the domestic and international sectors, including an overseas assignment in 1990-1995 with Chubb Insurance Company of Europe where she managed the United Kingdom risk control division.

Seabrook and GSI will continue to serve U.S. clients while further developing GSI’s international presence.

GSI’s Seabrook Widely-Recognized in Industry

Kathy Seabrook is a professional member of the British Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH); an international member of the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering; and is the past Chair and founding member of the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) International Practice Specialty and U.K. Section. She recently served on the ASSE Board of Directors.

Seabrook is a distinguished keynote speaker and seminar presenter on global safety and health issues for global corporations as well as at ASSE, NSC, Society of Human Resource Managers, Risk Insurance Management Society, the British Institution of Occupational Safety and Health annual conferences, and the XV World Congress on Safety and Health in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Seabrook is a contributing author on global safety & health management in two books: Essentials of Safety and Health Management, 1998; and Ted Ferry’s Safety and Health Management Planning, 1999. She also serves on the ANSI ASC Z10 Occupational Safety and Health Systems standard committee.

For her contributions to international safety, Seabrook received the IOSH Distinguished Service Award and ASSE President’s Award. She was also honored as ASSE’s International Practice Safety Professional of the Year.
