Kathy A. Seabrook, CSP, RSP (UK)

Kathy A. Seabrook
is president and founder of Global Solutions, Inc.(GSI), working with
international companies to develop global safety and health policies,
corporate standards, risk assessments and audit processes, and providing
leadership workshops and education programs on safety and health management
systems and U.K./ E.U. health and safety regulations.
Seabrook is currently leading GSI’s international expansion into
the U.K., while GSI continues to provide seamless service to existing
and new U.S. and other international clients.
Seabrook has over 20 years of diverse safety and health management experience
in both the domestic and international sectors, including a previous overseas
assignment with Chubb Insurance Company of Europe, managing their United
Kingdom risk control division. She is a professional member of the British
Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), an international
member of the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering and is the past Chair
and founding member of the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE)

Seabrook is a distinguished keynote speaker and seminar presenter on
global safety and health management issues. She works with international
companies to develop global safety and health policies, corporate standards,
risk assessment and audit processes. She also provides leadership workshops,
site implementation training and seminars on safety and health management
systems and U.K. and E.U. health and safety regulations. Seabrook has
conducted presentations on global safety and health issues at the annual
conferences of the National Safety Council, American Society of Safety
Engineers, Society of Human Resource Managers and Risk Insurance Management
Society. She has presented papers at the XV World Congress on Safety
and Health in Sao Paulo, Brazil and the Institution of Occupational
Safety and Health’s Annual Conference, Manchester, England.
Currently, Seabrook is a member of the ASSE national faculty and is
a contributing author on global safety & health management in the
two books: Essentials of Safety and Health Management and Ted Ferry’s
Safety and Health Management Planning. She also alternately serves on
the ANSI ASC Z10 Occupational Safety and Health Systems (Management)
standard committee.
For her contributions to international safety, Seabrook received the
IOSH Distinguished Service Award and the ASSE President’s Award.
She was also honored as ASSE’s International Practice Safety Professional
of the Year. Seabrook is a past member of ASSE’s Board of Directors
serving as ASSE’s elected Vice President of Practices and Standards.
Seabrook is a graduate of James Madison University, Virginia, USA with
a BS in Chemistry.
